The empty cobbled foreground gives the small groups room. Light gathers on the left, a lone figure interrupts the road on the right, and the monument holds the middle without quite dividing the scene in two.
Ormskirk, 30 October 2026. Mark remembers a quiet Friday before Halloween, with a few people already dressed for the occasion and a fresh covering of autumn leaves. Original camera rendering and complete frame retained.
