Long white light trails loop across a night scene, with the faint outline of a house behind them. Black and white photograph by Mark C Grant.
The building remains just legible beneath the bright scribble. Thin horizontal tracks meet much heavier loops, giving the frame two scales of movement. The exposure turns the street lighting into a drawing without losing every trace of the street.
Ormskirk, 30 October 2026. Mark remembers a quiet Friday before Halloween, with a few people already dressed for the occasion and a fresh covering of autumn leaves. Original camera rendering and complete frame retained.
