An empty chair by the doorway
← All photographs · Studio sequences · Photograph © Mark C Grant · Original catalogue entry ↗
An empty chair sits beside an open doorway, with pale walls and diagonal floorboards around it. Black and white photograph by Mark C Grant.
Curved chair arms soften a picture made largely from straight edges. Light reaches around the empty seat and leads towards the doorway beyond.
Photographed on a local walk, 27 October 2026. Fujifilm X100VI; original camera rendering and full composition retained.
