Headlights across Alpine

A passing car stretches bright headlight traces across the foreground outside Alpine Ormskirk. Black and white photograph by Mark C Grant.

The pale sweep cuts across darker figures and the repeated Alpine barriers. Motion doubles edges and loosens the windows, but the foreground car still gives the image a clear direction. The blur belongs to this encounter.

Ormskirk, 30 October 2026. Mark remembers a quiet Friday before Halloween, with a few people already dressed for the occasion and a fresh covering of autumn leaves. Original camera rendering and complete frame retained.
