Light under the arch

A dark bridge arch frames a sunlit path, a litter bin and a long lamp-post shadow. Black and white photograph by Mark C Grant.
The arch curves over a wedge of brilliant path. The long shadow divides the surface, while the bin anchors the far end: an ordinary walking route rearranged by the light.
Photographed on a local walk, 27 October 2026. Fujifilm X100VI; original camera rendering and full composition retained.
